You're Never Alone
I have been told that you are not alone
I wish it was always that way
So often it seems your all on your own
Many leave when you want them to stay
You search for the right answers
But even the questions are wrong
You try to rest for a moment or two
But your worries still move on
The quest it seems so empty
As the victory is slipping away
Solutions you can not follow
The darkness takes over the day
But light can be an illusion
Unless it comes from above
His touch can almost be blinding
As he opens your heart with his love
I am not afraid to face it
I must do the best that I can
And if I fall short in my journey
I will get up and start again
Not every day can be a winner
Your path may be rocky and slow
With the Lord on your side you can do it
He will be there wherever you go
